RE: COVID-19 RESPONSE

In an attempt to protect and maintain the health of our employees and our community, effective immediately, the Russell County Water Authority will temporarily be operating on a split-shift schedule, and will be accepting payments via the night drop and credit card payments over the phone and online.  The drive through window will no longer be open for payments.

The purpose of this is to minimize the number of employees in vehicles together and circulating through work areas, and to reduce the potential spread of Covid-19 between our staff and customers.  We will continue to maintain critical infrastructure to ensure your water continues to exceed quality standards and we will be available via phone for consultation.

We ask for your cooperation and patience as response to non-essential services may be longer than usual.  We are grateful for the opportunity to provide potable water for your consumption and cleaning, and we thank you all in advance for your understanding of the temporary changes in our service.
